YellowCard
Making medicines and medical devices safer

Thank you for your report

Here is your Yellow Card report ID: undefined

What happens to your report?

All Yellow Card reports submitted through the Yellow Card reporting site are rapidly assessed by a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, pharmacists and scientists to consider whether a new side effect or potential concern with any new or repurposed medicine or medical device is identified. The reports are evaluated alongside additional sources of information such as pre-clinical and clinical trial data, medical literature or data from international regulators.

Where appropriate, the MHRA seeks advice from key stakeholders including independent expert advisory committees. In certain circumstances this may be subject to expedited review and decision-making processes to enable the MHRA to take necessary action to minimise risk, while maximising patient benefit. These risks may be communicated where necessary through our Drug Safety Updates and in the Yellow Card app, which is free to download from App Store and Google Play. You can also report through the app and set up a watch list of medicines of interest.

If you have any more information about your report, or if there are any changes to the details you provided, please e-mail yellowcard@mhra.gov.uk or call the Yellow Card free phone line on 0800 731 6789 (Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm). Please always include the Yellow Card reference number above when contacting us.

Please note that the MHRA cannot provide any individual medical advice so speak to a healthcare professional if you are worried about your health and follow the latest government and NHS advice.
